Mobile MOBA Aptitude Quiz
Five questions, then you get the title that fits you and the role to start with.
Five things that catch you out in your first match
Term mappingHabits from one title carry over badly into the other. Name pairings are collected in the term mapping guide.
Where it goes wrong: Before you step into a bush
The two games find enemies in completely different ways. Walk into the river on the wrong habit and you get collapsed on.
Honor of KingsNo ward item exists. The roamer steps into the bush first, or throws a skill in to see what reacts.
Wild RiftEveryone carries free wards, and the Sweeping Lens clears the enemy's.
Where it goes wrong: When to head home
Saving up gold and channelling back is a habit only one of the two games needs.
Honor of KingsItems are bought from anywhere on the map, so a recall is for healing.
Wild RiftShopping happens at the fountain only. Go right after you shove the wave into the tower.
Where it goes wrong: Minion gold
Chipping minions down earns nothing. The item gap at ten minutes starts here.
Honor of KingsLand the killing blow and you take roughly 1.5x what a minion dying beside you pays.
Wild RiftGold lands only on the killing blow. Missed CS turns straight into an item deficit.
Where it goes wrong: Diving a tower
Chase someone under their tower and the tower turns on you. Check the conditions before stepping in.
Honor of KingsOuter towers take 40% less damage for the first four minutes, and your damage to a tower drops 55% with no allied minions beside you.
Wild RiftThe standard early plan is to take the Rift Herald and send it charging into the tower.
Where it goes wrong: Objective timers
Objectives are the call to group up. Read the clock wrong and it is over before you arrive.
Honor of KingsOverlord at 2:00, Tyrant at 4:00, and both are replaced by Shadow versions at 10:00.
Wild RiftSeven in all: four dragons, the Rift Herald, Baron Nashor and the Elder Dragon.
