Talon Early Game

The level 2 all-in (Skill 2 into Skill 1 into auto-attack) is a combo that often secures First Blood. Poke with Skill 2 to build the passive's Wound stacks. Keep up kill pressure to restrict what your opponent can do.

Talon Mid Game

Use Skill 3 wall jumps to move around the map and pick up kills roaming to side lanes and the enemy jungle. Choose gank paths that avoid enemy vision. Striking before the enemy can react is Talon's job.

Talon Late Game

Once the enemy starts grouping, solo assassinations get harder. Split push to pull their attention, and catch anyone out of position during their rotations. This is the phase to shake the map with assassin macro.

Talon Teamfights

Do not run into a teamfight head-on. Jump a wall to reach their backline from out of vision and kill their carry with Ult and passive burst. After the kill, use your mobility to get out; surviving is part of the play.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Reusing the same wall jump route and getting caught

Skill 3's wall jump is Talon's best tool, but each wall you jump goes on a long cooldown. Trying to escape over the wall you just used, failing, and dying there is the classic mistake. Plan ganks and assassinations so the way in and the way out use different walls. From level 5, pair the Ult stealth with your mobility to kill the ADC and get back to safety.

When Talon attacks a target with 3 stack(s) of Wound, all Wound stacks are consumed to send the target into a bleeding state, dealing 100 physical damage (100(Lv) + 210% bonus AD) over 2 second(s). Monsters are dealt 90% of this damage.
The target will not gain Wound stacks during this period.
If an enemy champion is killed while bleeding, Talon gains bonus Movement Speed that decays over 2 second(s).

Our take

The first phase gains 5 damage at every rank plus 5% bonus AD ratio, steadying Talon's early trades. Rake is one of the few tools he has that works from a distance, so more damage there makes setting up a commit easier. The jungle modifier also climbs from 70% to 80%, speeding up his clear. It is a straightforward buff that helps his farming and his ganks in equal measure.
