Popular Yunara builds in game

Taken from the in-game loadout screen as of 2026-10-07. The pick count and win rate are shown exactly as the game reports them.

Build 1DuoWin rate 54.72%Picks 9,626

Crit and Attack Speed build, more popular with a higher win rate

When you play duo lane and the enemy team groups up for teamfights

The items are the same as build 2, and this build is ahead on both popularity (9,626) and win rate (54.72%). In total it gives +255 Attack Damage, +110% Attack Speed and +75% Critical Rate. When a basic attack hits, Runaan's Hurricane fires extra mini bolts at 2 enemies near the target. Each bolt deals physical damage equal to 55% of Attack Damage, and the bolts can crit and apply on-hit effects. With Infinity Edge, critical strikes deal 230% damage instead of 200%.

Build 2DuoWin rate 54.42%Picks 7,799

Crit and Attack Speed build with the same items as build 1

Like build 1, when you play duo lane and the enemy team groups up for teamfights

The items are the same as build 1, while its popularity (7,799) and win rate (54.42%) are both lower than build 1's. Yun Tal Wildarrows grants 35% Attack Speed for 6 seconds when you attack an enemy champion. That 25-second cooldown drops by 1 second per attack, or by 2 seconds on a critical strike. Hexoptics C44 makes basic attacks deal more bonus damage the farther away the target is, up to 10% at 550 units. Bloodthirster turns overhealing from Lifesteal into a shield of up to 165-345, based on level.

Yunara Strengths

  • ✓Large self-buff and zone control during Ult
  • ✓Sustained AoE damage from Skill 1
  • ✓Utility from Skill 2's 99% slow and vision

Yunara Weaknesses

  • ×Low mobility and big openings without Ult
  • ×Weak early game and slow scaling at first
  • ×Fragile against hard CC and focus fire

Yunara Early Game

Early on, keep an eye on your Skill 1 stacks. Avoid risky trades and prioritize farming. Use the Skill 2 slow to survive ganks or to follow an ally's engage, and not much more.

Yunara Mid Game

Once your core items are built, the AoE damage from Skill 1 starts to hurt. Join objective fights while Ult is up and pick up kills in skirmishes; that is the fastest way to scale.

Yunara Late Game

This is where Yunara comes into her own. In the Transcendent state from Ult, skills cost no mana and can be cast freely, and your AoE auto-attacks shred the enemy team. Never isolate yourself; stay where your team can peel and work through their frontline first.

Yunara Teamfights

Do not be the first to show up in a teamfight. Wait until the enemy's critical CC has been used, then activate Ult. Land the empowered Skill 2 (Arc of Ruin) for heavy damage and slows. Save the empowered Skill 3 dash for dodging skills or chasing stragglers.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Forcing fights while Ult is on cooldown

Avoid forcing fights while Ult (Transcendent state) is on cooldown, because Yunara's strength depends heavily on it. Using the empowered Skill 3 dash forward carelessly also leaves you without an escape when you need one. From the early game, do not waste mana, and keep enough to cast the Skill 2 slow whenever it matters.

Yunara Combos

Basic Harass

Land the slow from Skill 2, damage them with empowered autos and Skill 1, then back off safely.

Cultivation of Spirit

Spirit Charge (Passive):
- Attacks deal an additional 10 magic damage (10 + 20%AP).
- When not active, launching an attack grants 1 Unleash (2 Unleash when attacking champions) for 6 second(s). Attacking again refreshes Unleash's duration.
- Max Unleash: 6. If the duration is not refreshed, Yunara loses 1 Unleash every 0.5 second(s).

Spirit Unbound (Active):
On cast, consumes Unleash, gaining 25% Attack Speed for 5 second(s). Attacks are empowered during this time to:
- Deal an additional 10 magic damage (10 + 20%AP) on-hit.
- Spread to enemies nearby the target, dealing them 18 physical damage (30%AD).

Transcendent State: This ability automatically activates until Yunara exits the state.

If the attack Critically Strikes, its spread damage will also Critically Strike. Damage from spread attacks is increased to 250% against minions below 30% HP.

Arc of Judgment:
Lets rip a spinning prayer bead in the target direction, briefly granting vision of the area it travels through. The prayer bead slows enemies hit by 99%, lingering as it travels and resetting its remaining duration. When it reaches its endpoint, it lingers and expands for 1 second(s), regardless of whether it has hit an enemy.
- The initial hit deals 60 magic damage (60 + 85% bonus AD + 50%AP) and slows by 99%, decaying over 1.5 seconds.
- When lingering, the bead deals an additional 9 magic damage (8 + 12% bonus AD + 7.5%AP) to nearby enemies every 0.25 second(s).

While Yunara is in a Transcendent State, this ability is upgraded to Arc of Ruin.

Arc of Ruin (Transcendent State): Fires a laser in the target direction that deals 160 magic damage (160 + 120% bonus AD + 75%AP) and slows by 99%, decaying over 1.5 seconds.

Patch 7.2
New
  • Yunara, unwavering in her loyalty to Ionia, withdrew into the spirit realm and trained with Aion Er'na, the relic passed down through generations of the Keepers of Balance. Whatever the cost, her vow to remove those who disturb the balance and put an end to conflict has never wavered, and neither has the conviction behind it. But the world waiting for Yunara, and the shadow of an ancient threat risen once more, will test that resolve completely.
  • Yunara releases on July 9 at 9:01 JST.
  • This entry covers only her backstory and release timing — no kit or numbers are published here. In the days after a new champion goes live, neither opponents nor teammates have a feel for her ranges and cooldowns, so spacing in lane and ultimate follow-ups tend to fall apart. If you run into Yunara in ranked, hold off on early commitments and watch how far each ability actually reaches before you engage.
