Our take
A 100 gold discount. The amount is small, but this sits in the price range marksmen buy first or second, so it can pull the purchase forward by a single recall. Runaan's Hurricane covers wave clear and hitting multiple targets in fights, and finishing it sooner means taking lane priority back sooner. The effect itself is untouched, so the late game is unchanged; the difference shows up in the mid-game games where that one earlier recall lands.

Our take
Each extra bolt hits harder, so the total climbs fastest when enemies are packed together. Wave clear speeds up as well, which frees up time to shove the lane and move elsewhere on the map. It still does nothing against a lone target, so the decision to buy it stays tied to how grouped up the game is.
