Kennen Strengths

Kennen Weaknesses

×Little presence while the Ult is on cooldown

Kennen Early Game

Use your range to pressure with auto-attacks and Skill 1. Threatening the passive stun keeps the enemy from farming freely, and that gives you control of the lane.

Kennen Mid Game

Use Teleport and Skill 3 mobility to reach dragon and Herald fights quickly. A flank Ult engage from out of vision can turn the fight on the spot.

Kennen Late Game

Once Zhonya's Hourglass is complete, your teamfight threat rises a great deal. Hide where the enemy has no vision and jump in at the moment they clump up.

Kennen Teamfights

Dash into the middle of the enemy team with Skill 3 and Protobelt, then stun several of them with your Ult and Skill 2. You will be focused right after engaging, so use Zhonya's at once to drop their focus and stay alive.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Walking up to cast the Ult without a gap-closer

Kennen's Ult can swing a teamfight, but walking up to cast it lets the enemy simply walk away. Always pair it with Skill 3's speed boost, Flash, or Protobelt, and cast only after you land in the middle of their team.

Hitting enemies with abilities places a Mark of the Storm on them for 6 seconds. At 3 stacks, the enemy is stunned for 1.25 seconds and Kennen gains 25 Energy.

Stunning an enemy multiple times within 6 seconds reduces the stun duration to 0.5 seconds.
