Urgot Early Game

The shotgun blasts from your passive legs hit hard from the start. Get close, circle the opponent, and fire several leg blasts in a row. The aim is to win trades.

Urgot Mid Game

Once core items like Black Cleaver are complete, your damage jumps. Split-push the side lanes to apply pressure. Even if enemies come for you, your brawling stats let you look for kills in a 1v2.

Urgot Late Game

In the late game, play as a durable frontline fighter for teamfights. Stand in the middle of the enemy, keep Skill 2 running, and spread passive blasts. Zone and grind them down with sustained damage.

Urgot Teamfights

Your main job is to flip an enemy carry backward alongside your team's CC, chunk them down, and execute them with Ult. A successful execution fears nearby enemies and breaks their formation.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Attacking from one direction without using the passive (Echoing Flames)

Urgot's main damage comes from the passive shotgun blasts fired from his six legs. Each leg goes on cooldown after firing, so standing still and hitting from the same angle adds nothing. Keep Skill 2 (Purge) running and circle the enemy so every leg fires. From level 5 on, this kiting raises your kill threshold a lot.

Fires a chem-drill that deals 100 physical damage (100 + 70% bonus AD) to the first champion hit and impales them for 4 seconds, slowing them by up to 75% based on their missing HP.

Re-cast: If the impaled target falls below 25% HP, Urgot channels for 1.5 seconds while he reels in and executes them. Upon an execution, nearby enemies are Feared for 1.5 seconds.

Fear Beyond Death is automatically re-cast if the enemy is below the threshold at the end of the duration.

Our take

Four extra base AD plus 10% more AD ratio at every rank make Urgot's lane trades straightforwardly stronger. Echoing Flames is his main source of chip damage, so getting that 10% from rank 1 shows up immediately in the early game. His last-hitting and wave clear steady up as well, meaning fewer stretches spent shoved under his own tower. The ratio increase keeps paying off once his items are finished.

Both of Urgot's main damage abilities pick up extra base damage. Because the buff lands on the flat portion rather than the ratios, it matters most before items come online. Wave clear and lane trades speed up together, making it easier to pull ahead in levels and health. Ratios take over as items come in, so the way to cash this buff in is to take control of the lane while it lasts.
