Gunmetal Greaves patch history
Figures are as written in the official patch notes; the commentary is ours.
Gunmetal Greaves
Patch 7.3Base Stats
- RemovedPhysical Vamp: 5%
- NewLifesteal: 5%
- Its 5% Physical Vamp becomes 5% Lifesteal.
Gunmetal Greaves
Patch 7.2cNoxian Gale
- Movement Speed (melee/ranged)15/12% → 10/7%
Our take
Part of the tier 3 boot power-down. Both melee and ranged users lose 5 points of movement speed, which makes the upgrade less automatic and leaves room to spend that gold elsewhere.
Gunmetal Boots
Patch 7.2Base Stats
- Cost: 2200g
- Recipe: Berserker's Boots (1200g) + 1000g
- Attack Speed: +50%
- Physical Vamp: +5%
Blessed Blade
- Basic attacks on hit restore 12 HP.
Noxian Gale
- When a basic attack hits a champion, gain a burst of 15% (melee) / 10% (ranged) movement speed for 2s.
- Fifty percent attack speed is enormous for a boot and lifts the DPS of any basic-attack champion a full tier. Blessed Blade only returns 12 per hit, but it compounds with attack speed, which shows up in jungle clears and in staying healthy through a lane. Noxian Gale accelerates you every time you connect, so it fits chasing down a fleeing target. The larger melee value makes clear who it is designed for — the champions who have to close the gap.
