Max Skill 1 first as your main damage source, then level Skill 3 for its mobility and bonus damage.

Aurora Strengths

  • ✓Passive max-HP percentage damage stays effective against tanks
  • ✓Skill 2's invisibility resets on takedowns, strong in extended fights
  • ✓Ult's wide slow zone and edge-to-edge movement are strong in teamfights

Aurora Weaknesses

  • ×No hard CC like stuns; slows alone may not lock enemies down
  • ×Passive needs 3 hits, so missing skills lowers her damage
  • ×Skill 2's 21-second cooldown is long; without resets, escapes are scarce

Aurora Early Game

Use the movement speed from your abilities and the healing from your passive to play a hit-and-run lane. Land the recast of Skill 1 for burst damage and keep poking to take priority.

Aurora Mid Game

Use Skill 2's stealth and wall-hopping to roam and take deep vision safely. In skirmishes, use Ult to split the enemy team or block their escape paths, creating fights where your team gets easy kills.

Aurora Late Game

Pressure the enemy carries while switching between split pushing and grouping as needed. Ult placement can decide the game, so in objective fights wait for the moment the enemies clump together.

Aurora Teamfights

In teamfights, deploy Ult to slow enemies entering or leaving the zone while spreading passive stacks. Drop enemy focus with Skill 2's invisibility and keep dealing damage while staying alive.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Reckless positioning with abilities

Aurora has good mobility and poke, but she is fragile, and diving into the middle of the enemy team alone gets her killed quickly. Poke from a safe distance by default. When you use the Level 5 Ult to trap enemies, confirm your team can follow up right away before engaging.

  • Recast damage35/65/95/125 + 30% AP → 40/70/100/130 + 33% AP

The Weirding

  • Damage75/125/175/225 → 80/130/180/230

Our take

The base damage on Twofold Hex returns to what it was before the 7.1g cut, and the AP ratio comes back slightly higher at 33%. Because the first cast and the recast both get the same increase, a full sequence gains more than either line suggests on its own. The Weirding picks up 5 damage at every rank, which steadies Aurora's wave clear and her lane poke.

Nerf

Twofold Hex

  • First cast damage40/70/100/130 + 32% AP → 35/65/95/125 + 30% AP
  • Recast damage40/70/100/130 + 32% AP → 35/65/95/125 + 30% AP

Our take

The initial cast and the recast come down by the same amount, so a full sequence lands clearly less damage than before. Five less base damage per rank and 2% less AP scaling slow her lane trades and her wave clear together. With her main source of pressure weaker on both casts, Aurora shoves the lane less often early and leans harder on reaching the teamfight stage.
