Max Skill 1 first for both wave clear and healing, then level Skill 3 for extra mobility.
The early laning phase favors Renekton. Build Fury, dash in with Skill 3, and stun with empowered Skill 2. Heal and deal damage with Skill 1, then dash back out with Skill 3. This combo gives the opponent no window to answer and pushes them out of lane.
Use your early-to-mid snowball to invade the enemy jungle and dive other lanes. With the durability and area damage from Ult, take skirmish after skirmish.
You fall behind in scaling as the game goes on and struggle to solo-carry with damage. Shift gradually from a diver to a tank and peel role. Playing as an off-tank who protects your carries is the safer path.
Pressuring the backline matters, but your main job is to lock down diving assassins or ADCs with empowered Skill 2. Do not dive so deep that you die for nothing. Pop Ult on the frontline, soak their attacks, and let your team's damage do the work.
Avoid aggressive harass or all-ins below 50 Fury (when the gauge is not red). Without empowered skills you tend to lose trades, and the short stun on Skill 2 hurts most. Build Fury on minions first. Once you are ready, dash in with Skill 3 and land your empowered skills. From Lv5, the bonus HP from Ult lets you fight back confidently even against a 1v2 gank.
Dash in with Skill 3 and stun with a high-fury Skill 2. Land Skill 1, then dash back out with Skill 3.

Critical damage is 200% for every champion. These figures exclude items and runes.
Our take
Like Fiora, Renekton lost ground to the boot changes. Ruthless Predator gives up 4 damage at rank 1 and gains heavily from rank 2 on: 96 becomes 140 at rank 4, or 144 to 210 when empowered. A maxed Ruthless Predator now lands like a different ability.
Our take
Four less base AD softens Renekton's auto-attack trades right out of the gate. Ruthless Predator loses 20% of its base damage in both the normal and empowered versions, so spending fury on it pays back less. The rank 1 cooldown stretching from 12.5s to 14s hurts as well, making it harder to chain short trades at levels 1 through 3. Rank 4 still sits at 8s, so the impact is concentrated in the early game.
