Popular Tryndamere builds in game

Taken from the in-game loadout screen as of 2026-10-07. The pick count and win rate are shown exactly as the game reports them.

Build 1TopWin rate 51.02%Picks 1,044

Top build with Ghost and Ignite

When you play top (Baron lane) and take Ghost as a summoner spell

The items are the same as builds 2 and 3, with Ghost and Ignite as summoner spells. Ghost sharply raises your Movement Speed, which then decays over 8 seconds to 25% bonus Movement Speed. Each kill or assist extends Ghost by 6 seconds and resets the effect. This build's win rate of 51.02% is slightly above build 2's 50.75%, but its popularity of 1,044 is lower than build 2's.

Build 2TopWin rate 50.75%Picks 1,915

Top build with Flash and Ignite

When you play top (Baron lane) and take Flash as a summoner spell

The items are the same as builds 1 and 3, with Flash and Ignite as summoner spells. Flash teleports you a short distance forward or in a chosen direction. Flash's cooldown is 150 seconds, longer than the 90 seconds of Ghost in build 1. This build's popularity of 1,915 is higher than build 1's 1,044, while its win rate of 50.75% is slightly below build 1's.

Build 3JungleWin rate 52.6%Picks 4,710

Jungle build with the same items as builds 1 and 2

When you play jungle and the enemy has champions who restore health

The items are the same as builds 1 and 2, with Ghost and Smite as summoner spells. Dealing physical damage to an enemy champion applies 50% Grievous Wounds for 3 seconds through Mortal Reminder. Build 4 has no item or summoner spell that applies Grievous Wounds. Critical Rate totals +75%, higher than build 4's +50%. This build's popularity of 4,710 is below build 4's 5,739, but its win rate of 52.6% is above build 4's 52.14%.

Build 4JungleWin rate 52.14%Picks 5,739

Quicksilver Sash to break free of crowd control

When you play jungle and many enemy champions have crowd control but none restore health

Quicksilver Sash brings +30 Magic Resistance, and its active removes all crowd control debuffs from you. You are then immune to crowd control for 0.25 seconds, but the item has a 60-second cooldown and cannot be used while airborne or knocked back. Lord Dominik's Regards deals up to 12% bonus damage based on the enemy champion's bonus HP. Phantom Dancer grants 6% Attack Speed and 1% Movement Speed for 6 seconds each time you land a basic attack on a champion, stacking up to 5 times. The total cost is 14,550G, cheaper than build 3's 17,900G.

Tryndamere Strengths

  • ✓A few seconds of immortality from Ult
  • ✓High DPS from crits and basic attacks
  • ✓Strong split-pushing backed by high mobility

Tryndamere Weaknesses

  • ×Weak to crowd control and easily kited
  • ×Low impact in straightforward front-to-back teamfights
  • ×Much weaker without Fury built up

Tryndamere Early Game

Build Fury on minions to raise your crit chance before you trade. If the crits line up, you can deal heavy damage early on, so step up and take the brawl when you have the edge.

Tryndamere Mid Game

Lean on your 1v1 strength and keep pushing the side lanes. When several enemies come to stop you, spin over a wall with Skill 3 and leave. While they chase, your team can take objectives on the other side of the map.

Tryndamere Late Game

By the late game you are a complete split-pusher, and your tower-taking speed is a real threat. Rather than forcing your way into teamfights, pressure inhibitors and the Nexus alone. The goal is to pull enemies away and break their formation.

Tryndamere Teamfights

Split-pushing comes first, but if you do join a teamfight, come in from behind. Spin onto the enemy carry with Skill 3 and press Ult just before you would die. Your job is to wreck their backline during those 5 seconds of immortality.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

Dying with Ult unused by holding it too long

If you try to hold your immortality Ult until the last sliver of HP, unexpected burst or chain CC can kill you before you cast it. Ult can be used while crowd controlled, but a late reaction still means death. When you sense danger, press it a little early and deal your damage. Then decide whether to keep pushing with Skill 3 or to leave.

Our take

Bloodlust’s Attack Speed is gone entirely, and so is the bonus Undying Rage used to add to it. In exchange he gains 10 base Attack Damage and 0.6 Armor per level.

Bloodlust drops its flat Attack Damage and instead scales per 1% missing Health by rank — 0.5 to 0.9 at rank 4 — so it pays off once he is hurt. Mocking Shout’s Attack Damage reduction also splits by rank, reaching 80% at rank 4.
