Our take

Eternal Hunger converts less bonus AD, so an AD-focused Warwick gets less out of every auto attack. Jaws of the Beast loses 5% AP scaling as well, meaning the AP route does not pull ahead to compensate. Neither build stands out the way it did, and both his early clear speed and his ability to delete a target on a gank take a step back.

Our take

Prowling Projectile costs 15 less mana at every rank, so Yuumi can keep poking through the lane phase without running dry. Final Chapter is unchanged at rank 1 but grows faster with each rank after that, adding up to clearly more healing across a full fight. With less mana to ration, she spends more of the game attached and contributing instead of sitting on empty.

Our take

The same mana pool now converts into a visibly thinner shield, making the item a less dependable insurance policy against a lethal hit. Builds that stack a lot of mana feel it most: bursts they used to survive will start going through. Growing mana as a substitute for durability still works in principle, but it needs backing from a genuine defensive item now.

Our take

Both the penetration and the raw damage come down, reining in a boot that was doing the work of an offensive item. Losing 5 AD lowers every auto attack, and stacked with less AR penetration the drop against armored targets is steeper than either line looks on its own. It is no longer the automatic choice among boots, which puts the decision back on the enemy composition.

Our take

Four less max mana per stack stretches out how long it takes to build the mana pool, pushing back the point where the item starts paying off. Shock's bonus damage also converts less AD, so the ceiling is lower once it does come online. Slower to ramp and weaker at the top is a double hit, and builds anchored on Manamune deserve a rethink.

Our take

Melee users convert less of the target's current HP into damage, so high-HP frontliners melt more slowly. Only the melee value moved, so this is aimed squarely at melee carries and bruisers rather than ranged users. With less of a one-sided edge against tanks, the item competes on more even footing with other offensive options.

Our take

Pounce loses 10 base damage at every rank, narrowing the health range Nidalee can actually finish once she commits in cougar form. Aspect of the Cougar also converts less AP into bonus AR and MR, so a heavy AP build no longer buys as much durability while transformed. Together they push her back toward whittling targets down with spears before she ever dives.

Our take

Skarner gets a lift shortly after release. The extra 1% max HP damage speeds up how quickly he grinds through durable targets. The biggest piece is Seismic Bastion: a second off the cooldown at every rank plus a thicker HP-scaled shield lets him hold the front line far longer. Ixtal's Impact returns two seconds sooner as well, so his whole engage-and-reset rhythm speeds up.

Our take

Absolution scales less off the target's current HP, so Senna wears down durable enemies more slowly. Dawning Shadow trades in the other direction: a better AP ratio, but far less shield per Mist stack, which bites hardest late when the stack count is high. The net effect steers her build away from hoarding Mist and toward buying AP outright.

Our take

Each stack grants 1 less max mana, slowing the ramp on any build centred on Tear of the Goddess. A single stack barely registers, but stacks accumulate across the whole game, so the total max mana reached by any given point is clearly lower. Champions who fight by spending their entire mana bar have to be more careful about wasting casts early.
